Your farm’s books, on your phone.

Record each sale at the market, each day of work and each dollar or lira you spend. Mazraa adds up the rest: what the season left, what each dealer owes you, what you owe.

01Before Mazraa

Farm record keeping, as it is done today

  • The notebook. Sales, expenses and days of work written by hand, and added up by hand.

  • The dealer’s slips. Market receipts as a slip in a pocket and a photo on WhatsApp, and one goes missing every week.

  • The season’s end. Days of sums to learn what is left, who owes you and whom you owe.

02How it works

Three steps, from the receipt to what is left

  1. 1

    Record it as it happens

A market sale from the dealer’s receipt, a day of work at its end, an expense when you pay it or buy it on credit.

    Receipt 4127 · Abu Fares52 crates
    Long aubergine40 crates, 440 kg$396.00
    Medium long aubergine12 crates, 160 kg$72.00
  2. 2

    Mazraa adds it up

It takes the commission and the transport off each receipt, sets each payment against the oldest receipt, and works out each worker’s wages and the crew’s share.

    Commission and transportReceipt 4127
    Sold for$468.00
    Commission 10%−$46.80
    Transport−$26.00
    Owes you$395.20
  3. 3

    See what is left

What the season has left so far against last season on the same day, what each dealer owes you, and what you owe.

    Season 2026So far
    Left so far$14,284
    Last season by this day$10,936
Owed to you by dealers and buyers$8,214
    You owe suppliers and workers$350

03What it keeps

Market receipts, workers, expenses, seasons and contracts

Every screen here is the app itself, with names and figures made up for the example.

01

Wholesale market receipts

Copy the dealer’s receipt line by line, by the crate or the kilo, first grade and second. The dealer commission and the transport come off it, and what he owes is kept. Sales at the farm too.

A market receipt in Mazraa: long aubergine in two sizes, and what the dealer owes after his commission and the transport.
02

What each dealer owes

Each payment he makes pays his oldest receipt first. Send him his statement as a PDF.

Abu Fares’s statement: what he owes on his last three receipts, the oldest part paid.
03

Farm worker wages

Days of work, wages, pay ahead and the crew’s share of the season, and what each worker is still owed.

Jamil Ahmad’s days in a month: the days paid in green, those still owed in amber.
04

Expenses

Paid now or on credit, and what the farm owes each supplier.

Records showing expenses: fertiliser, the generator and diesel, with what is still owed to each supplier.
05

Seasons, plots and greenhouses

What each plot and greenhouse produced, and the season profit after costs, against last season on the same day.

The season: what it has left so far against last season by the same day, and what it is expected to leave.
06

Leases, partnerships, crops sold standing

Farmland leases, partnerships, and a standing crop sold as a block, with their instalments and what is paid of each.

Bananas sold standing for $12,000: two instalments paid and $6,000 still owed.
07

Dollars and lira

Each amount stays at the rate it was entered; the farm sets the rate.

Diesel bought on credit for 3,580,000 LBP, and its dollars at that day’s rate.

06Questions

What farmers ask

Your question is not here? Write it in your request to join.

Is it free?

Yes, during the pilot, for farms that ask to join.

Do I need a computer?

No. It works in any phone’s browser and can be added to the home screen. It opens on a computer or a tablet too.

Is it in Arabic?

Yes, in Arabic and English, and you choose the language. In Arabic, figures are written in Arabic digits.

Can my foreman enter the work days?

Yes. Each person on the farm’s team has a role; the foreman enters the work days and sees only what his role allows.

Can I send a dealer his statement?

Yes. His statement is a PDF in his language, to share from your phone or print.

Who sees my farm’s records?

Your farm’s team alone, each as their role allows. Each record keeps who entered it and who changed it.

Does it work outside Lebanon?

Yes, in any country, and a receipt from Syria’s wholesale market is recorded like any market receipt. Amounts are in dollars or Lebanese lira only.
